About me and the creations

Hi, I’m Feather and I’ve been creating images through experimentation with acrylic paint, PVA, water, some silicone oil and a lot of getting it wrong!

I find the process relaxing and now have far too many canvases to keep, so I’m offering them for donations towards my college fees and our new home. If you see a canvas you would like to come and live with you, please use the contact page to send me a message. Make sure you let me know the number it is, then I’ll be in touch and we can work out how to get it to you!

The photos I have taken use as much natural light as possible and are taken to give you the best idea of the actual colours on the canvas. However, please be aware that images may seem slightly different in different light and when viewed from different angles.

Please pay attention to the sizes given with each picture, I’ve listed them in three groups to help with this!

Practical Things

Canvases are all with painted edges and covered with at least two coast of PVA/water sealant. This offers some protection from dust and household light, but also means that if splashed the seal may come lose. Likewise, they are not indestructible if dropped or caught by a hard object as the canvas may tear or split.

The back of the canvas may well include genuine smudges and fingerprints! Keeping it real all the way! Plus a signature and the number of the picture. They are all one of a kind, I’ve tried to replicate some and failed – but found something beautiful in the process! (you don’t see the others)

To hang your new picture you could try balancing the canvas on a single nail in the wall to find the mid point, or attach your own picture hooks or hanging system to the wooden frame. Only the smaller card creations will need framing or standing freely for display.

Finally, this is your art, you can hang them any way up you like and even from a corner!
